Dr. Walter Zogg - Consultant Psychiatrist

     Dr. Walter Zogg was born in Switzerland and qualified as a doctor at the Universities of Fribourg and Berna, Switzerland (1979) .He obtained his Doctorate in the University of Zurich in1987.

He worked as  a Psychiatrist at the Psychiatric Clinic  and at the Psychiatric Policlinic  ,University of Berna. He also worked as Assistant Chief of the Department of Psychiatry at the Cantonal Clinic , Berna.

 For 4 years he was  Chief of the Psyco-Social Service of Lugano (Ticino). From 1998 to 2005 Dr. Walter Zogg  worked in private practice in Mendrisio (Ticino, Switzerland).

He is a member of the American Psychiatric Association and was  member of the Advisory Boards of the pharmaceutical Companies Novartis (Switzerland), Organon (Holland) and Eli Lilly (U.S.A.).

He has colaborated in the training of medical students at the University of Berna and Fribourg, as well as in the training of Psychiatrists and General Practitioners in Ticino and nationally.

He has presented several publications about Depression.

He has also worked as Consultant Psychyatrist at the Hospital Marina Alta in Denia.

Dr. Walter Zogg speaks German, English, Spanish, French, Italian and Swedish.
